Mary Ellen Rice, 80, of McGregor, Iowa died Wednesday, February 1, 2017 in McGregor, Iowa. Mary Ellen was born on August 19, 1936 to Anton and Julie (Hanlon) Condroski in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She graduated from Florence High School in Florence, Wisconsin. Mary Ellen honorably served in the United States Marines during peace time. She was an Executive Secretary for Hughes Aircraft in Tucson, Arizona and owned and operated Fin and Feather, Eagles Nest and Stage Coach Bar and Grill for over forty years.
Mary Ellen is survived by her daughter, Julia (Lenny) Rosheger of Willis, Texas; four grandchildren, Gavin (Amy) Junk of Lantana, Florida, Kyle (fiancé, Megan Fetter) Junk of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Ashley Vogt of McGregor, Iowa and Kaitlin Vogt of Willis, Texas; and six great-grandchildren.
Mary Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, Anton and Julia Condroski; and two brothers, Tony (Betty) Condroski and Victor Condroski.
Services will be at a later date.
