June Harriet Fascher, 89, of Monona, Iowa died Sunday, November, 19, 2017 at Gundersen Health Systems, La Crosse, Wisconsin. June was born on April 21, 1928, in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, to Jacob and Florence (Koss) Holly. She was united in marriage with Orlando W. Fascher on September 10, 1945, at the Peace United Church of Christ Parsonage in Elkader, Iowa. Four children were born to this union.

June and Orlando farmed together near Farmersburg, Iowa, until they retired in 1980. They continued living on the farm until moving to Monona, Iowa, in 1996. June enjoyed baking, canning and gardening. She loved spending time with her family and following her children and grandchildren’s activities. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include three daughters, Becky (John) Rugland, Mashpee, MA, Kristy (Bill) Garms, Monona, Renee (Dave) Storkson, Prairie du Chien; six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

June was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Florence Holly; her husband, Orlando Fascher, on April 28, 2004; one son, Stephen Fascher; one grandson, Kyle Storkson; one brother, Johnny Holly and three sisters, Eva Martens, Gwendolyn Anderson and Betty Edaburn.

Visitation will be held before Funeral Services from 9-11 am on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at St. John Lutheran Church, Farmersburg, Iowa.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at St. John Lutheran Church, Farmersburg, Iowa with Rev. Harold McMillin as the Officiant.

Inurnment will follow at Farmersburg-Wagner Cemetery, Farmersburg, Iowa.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to St. John Lutheran Church in Farmersburg, Iowa.
