\"\"Irene A. Henry Riley, 84, of McGregor, Iowa died Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Crossing Rivers Health in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. She was born September 4, 1936 to Raymond and Agnes (Adney) Henry in McGregor, Iowa. Irene graduated from Mar-Mac High School.<\/p>\n

Irene was united in marriage to Gene Riley on June 1, 1957 at The Little Brown Church In The Vale, Nashua, Iowa. They eventually bought Irene\u2019s childhood home, where she still lived, to raise their three children and later two grandchildren. Throughout the years, Irene worked at the McGregor Hospital for Dr. Pfeiffer, Bickel Insurance, Prairie Federal Savings and Loan and Anchor Savings Bank. She enjoyed knitting, reading and spending time at the McGregor Public Library.<\/p>\n

Surviving Irene are her son, Stanley Riley of Tennessee; daughter Jena (Michael) Kreul of McGregor, Iowa; grandchildren that were raised as their own, Robert (Le-Anna) Riley of McGregor, Iowa and Kathy (Josh) Kluth of Farmersburg, Iowa; four other grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.<\/p>\n

Irene was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Agnes Henry; her husband, Gene Riley; daughter, Debra Rae Riley; and her brother, Stanley (Norma) Henry.<\/p>\n

Inurnment at a later date.<\/p>\n

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to McGregor Public Library 334 Main Street, McGregor, Iowa 52157<\/p>\n
