Sharon Kay Mathews, 61 of Postville, Iowa passed away Sunday, November 5, 2023 at Thornton Manor in Lansing, Iowa. Sharon was born March 8, 1962 in Postville Iowa, the daughter of Lloyd and Leona (Ness) Mathews. She was baptized and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Postville, Iowa. Sharon attended school at Abner Hendricks in Decorah, Iowa. After graduation she worked at TASC in Waukon, Iowa.<\/p>\n

Sharon is survived by her father, Lloyd Mathews of Postville, Iowa; brother, Roger Mathews of Postville, Iowa; sisters, Marilyn Mathews of Waukon, Iowa and Carol (Tod) Wilson of Holmen, Wisconsin; one nephew, Nathan Wilson of Holmen, Wisconsin; her nieces, Elizabeth Wilson ( fianc\u00e9 Victor Roman) of Chanhassen, Minnesota and Rachel Wilson of Holmen Wisconsin; aunt and uncle Donald and Minnie Mathews of Bel Air, Maryland and several cousins.<\/p>\n

Preceding Sharon in death were her mother, Leona Mathews; aunts and uncles, Violet and Harold Ness, Lawrence and Dorothy Ness, Clarence and Doris Ness and Keith Mathews.<\/p>\n

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday November 28, 2023 at Postville Cemetery in Postville, Iowa with Pastor Lynn Noel as the officiant.<\/p>\n

Schutte-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Postville, Iowa is assisting the family with services.<\/p>\n
