Four children were born to this union. Cletus and Irma purchased the Henry Comnick Farm in 1950, where they farmed for many years. This is the same farm that is currently farmed by Steven, north of Monona. Irma found enjoyment in many things, teaching Sunday school, being a 4-H leader, raising calves, sewing, and crocheting.\u00a0 She loved spending time with the family, watching her grand\/great children grow.\u00a0 Irma and Cletus moved off the farm and into town in the early 70\u2019s, where Irma stayed until her last move to Good Samaritan in June 2021 due to a fall at home.\u00a0 Irma\u2019s kindness, cooking and love will be dearly missed by her family.<\/p>\n<p>Irma is survived by her sons, Steven (Valerie) Hagensick and Allyn Hagensick; daughter, Dawn (Kurt) Stewart; nine grandchildren, Jessica Hagensick, Casey Hagensick, Marcus Hagensick, Shelley Davis, Lauren Wittmer, Matthew Reierson, Geoffrey Stewart, Brittany Stewart, Derrick Stewart and fourteen great-grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>Preceding Irma in death were her parents, Earl and Ida Shaw; husband, Cletus Hagensick; daughter, Debra Reierson; daughter-in-law, Laura Hagensick; grandson, Jeremy Hagensick; and three brothers.<\/p>\n<p>According to Irma\u2019s wishes a cremation has taken place and a Graveside Service and Inurnment at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Monona, Iowa will be held at a later date with Rev.
