Marilyn was born in West Union, Iowa. In 1950 she was united in marriage to Wayne Larson at Zion Lutheran Church.\u00a0 To this union four beautiful children were born.<\/p>\n<p>Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Marlene (Dennis) Julius, Connie (Bob) Tierney and Deanna (Ron) Mormann, son, Jeff (Cindy) Larson, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.<\/p>\n<p>Preceding Marilyn in death were her husband, Wayne; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Felix Grafenberg; sisters, Shirley (Balz) Kamm and Janice (James) Corkery.<\/p>\n<p>A private family graveside service was held at the West Union City Cemetery.<\/p>\n<p>Burnham-Wood-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service of West Union, Iowa is assisting the family with services.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Marilyn Larson, 94 of Marion, Iowa, formerly of West Union, Iowa, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2025 at St. Lukes Transitional Care Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
