Her home was in Fairbank, Iowa where she resided with her Goodwill Family.\u00a0 She attended North Star in Waterloo, Iowa which she thoroughly enjoyed and had many friends there.<\/p>\n
She is survived by three sisters Linda(Stephen) McHale, Kathy (Marv) Cook and Bobbie (Galen) Pettengill, one sister in law Deanna Donovan and 7 nieces with one being her special guardian, Brooke Pettengill along with a very extraordinary group of friends Jennifer, JulieAnn, Charlene, Kim and Alice.<\/p>\n
Preceding her in death were her parents and her brother Tom.<\/p>\n
Marni was a woman of no words but spoke volumes from her heart and eyes.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0She enjoyed the simple things in life.\u00a0 The joys of nature, watching the birds, going for a ride to see the countryside, shopping at Wal-Mart and enjoying a Casey\u2019s donut and Freddie\u2019s French fries.<\/p>\n
She will be missed by so many.\u00a0 In lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to Goodwill or Cedar Valley Hospice.<\/p>\n
A time of remembrance will be at 5:00 pm on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Marni’s house in Fairbank, Iowa.<\/p>\n
