Mardella Marie Vera Suddendorf, 92, of Monona, Iowa died Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Garden View Senior Community in Monona, Iowa.\u00a0 Mardella was born October 8, 1926 to Harold George and Hilda Marie (DeSotel) Aulerich in Monona, Iowa. She was confirmed on April 6, 1941. Mardella graduated from Luana High School in 1943.<\/p>\n
Mardella was united in marriage with Kenneth George Suddendorf on January 9, 1946 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Monona, Iowa. Three children were born to this union.\u00a0 She was a farmwife and also was a 4-H Leader.<\/p>\n
Mardella is survived by her children, Lonny Suddendorf of Abileen, Texas, Larry (Karen) Suddendorf of Monona, Iowa and Judy Suddendorf of Burnsville, Minnesota; five grandchildren, Ashley Suddendorf, Whitney Suddendorf, Brody (Kim) Suddendorf, Colby Suddendorf and Chelsey (Brandon Alvarez) Suddendorf; and two great-grandchildren, Parker and Mila.<\/p>\n
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth in 1991; and her parents, Harold and Hilda Aulerich.<\/p>\n
Visitation will be held from 9:00 am to 10:30 am on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Monona, Iowa.<\/p>\n
Funeral Service will be at 10:30 am on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Monona, Iowa with Rev. Erika Kielstrup as the officiant.<\/p>\n
Burial will follow at Monona Cemetery, Monona, Iowa.<\/p>\n
