Kevin Lee Radetzki, 61, of Postville, Iowa died Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at his home in the company of his close friends. Kevin was born to Arthur and Lois (Evans) Radetzki on July 26, 1957. Early in life Kevin held several different jobs at a local roofing company, Adeco Packing, and a petroleum supply company.\u00a0 He later found his niche working in meat processing for Farmland Foods and eventually Agri-Star. Kevin loved good food and good jokes. He was a regular at Casino Queen on the Mississippi where there was always a buffet and entertainment. Kevin\u2019s biggest passion was NASCAR. He loved Rusty Wallace and, in his younger years, he could be found down at the racetrack in Dubuque every chance he got.<\/p>\n
Kevin is survived by his siblings, Fran (Duane) Spain, Kathy O\u2019Brien, Linda (Barry) Nudd, Frank O\u2019Brien, Rhonda (Joe Horsfall) Radetzki, Kim (Patrick Kruegel) Wiese, Robin (Dan) Ignatowicz, and Cliff (Cathy) Morgan, several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends.<\/p>\n
Kevin\u2019s family will be holding a Memorial Gathering at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at the Eagles Club in Maquoketa, Iowa (1102 E. Platt).<\/p>\n
Inurnment will follow at a later date.<\/p>\n
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in Kevin\u2019s honor has been established.<\/p>\n
Schutte-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Postville, Iowa is assisting the family with arrangements.<\/p>\n
