Russell David Wright, 51, of Monona, Iowa died Sunday, May 12, 2019 at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque, Iowa.\u00a0 Russell was born September 9, 1967 to John and Karen (Kurth) Wright in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin.\u00a0 He graduated from MFL High School in 1985 and attended two years at Wisconsin School of Electronics in Madison, Wisconsin.<\/p>\n
Russell was united in marriage with Claudia Huinker on October 23, 1992 in Elkader, Iowa. He was employed by CVG of Monona as a Salesman.<\/p>\n
Russell is survived by his wife, Claudia Wright of Monona, Iowa; son, Alex Wright of Watertown, Wisconsin; two daughters, Kirsten (fiance\u2019, Mike) Lenth of Mount Vernon, Iowa and Emilie (Barry) Bunten of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; five grandchildren, Lily, Cameryn, Brady, Sophie and Elle; and his siblings, Les (Diane) Wright of Mitchellville, Iowa, Scott Wright of Monona, Iowa, Tim (Cathy) Wright of Monona, Iowa, Brett Wright of La Crosse, Wisconsin, Kim (Randy) Scherf of Farmersburg, Iowa and Annette (David) Morrison, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents, John \u201cJack\u201d and Karen Wright; and one brother, Mark Wright.<\/p>\n
A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm with a time for sharing at 6:00 pm on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Leonard-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Monona, Iowa.<\/p>\n
Inurnment will be held at a later date.<\/p>\n
