\"\"Susan Geraldine McDonald, 61, of Ossian, Iowa died Sunday, March 29, 2020.\u00a0 Susan was born May 25, 1958 to Virlyn and Olga (Rystad) McDonald in Grand Forks, North Dakota. She graduated from Larimore High School in 1976,<\/p>\n

Susan was a CNA at the Wellington Place in Decorah, Iowa from 1999 to 2010 and loved working there. She had two dogs , Yeti and Brinley , that she adored.<\/p>\n

Susan is survived by her four children, Holly (Walter) Witt of Ossian, Iowa, Jason Johnson of Cresco, Iowa, Whitney (Rashone) Lowery of Cresco, Iowa and Wyatt (Sierra) Opperman of Ellsworth, Iowa; five granddaughters, Ava, Amber, Nevaeh, Ra\u2019Niyah and Rory; and four siblings, John (Valerie) McDonald of Larimore, North Dakota, Mary (Robert) Boushee of Emerado, North Dakota, Darryl (Cindy) McDonald of Larimore, North Dakota and Mark McDonald of Fargo, North Dakota. She was preceded in death by her parents, Virlyn and Olga McDonald.<\/p>\n

A private family inurnment will be held at a later date at Bellevue Cemetery in Larimore, North Dakota.<\/p>\n

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Ossian Ambulance Service.<\/p>\n
