Norma Jean Erickson, 92, of Farmersburg, Iowa died Monday, June 1, 2020 at her daughter\u2019s home in Delhi, Iowa. Norma was born May 17, 1928 to Herman and Florence (Homan) Plummer in La Crosse, Wisconsin. She attended school in Waukon, Iowa.<\/p>\n
Norma was united in marriage with Charles A. Erickson on June 10, 1946 at The Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. Three children were born to this union. Norma was a wonderful homemaker and farmer\u2019s wife. She enjoyed gardening, playing cards and games, fishing in Minnesota, dancing and seeing old cars. She found ![\"\"](\"https:\/\/graufuneralhomes.com\/lab\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/senior-250x307.jpg\")
great joy in visiting with neighbors and loved having the grandchildren over. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Farmersburg, Iowa and The American Legion Auxiliary.<\/p>\n
Surviving Norma are her three children, Don (Kathy) Erickson of Farmersburg, Iowa, Joyce (Bob) Phillips of Delhi, Iowa and Ken Erickson of Farmersburg, Iowa; six grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Evelyn Kuehl of Waterloo, Iowa; sister-in-law, Viola Erickson of Elkader, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n
Norma was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Erickson on January 21, 1994; her parents, Herman and Florence Plummer; one sister, in infancy; her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law; three nephews; and one niece.<\/p>\n
The family would like to thank St. Croix Hospice and the nurses, Mary, Cathleen and Amanda for the wonderful care given to Norma.<\/p>\n
A Public Visitation will be held from 9-11 am on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at Leonard-Grau Funeral Home in Elkader, Iowa.<\/p>\n
There will be a Private Family Funeral and Burial.<\/p>\n
