Kevin Dale Henning, 63, of Monona, Iowa died Monday, October 29, 2018 at his home. Kevin Dale was born October 12, 1955 to Dale and Bonnie (Drahn) Henning in Fort Chaffee, Arkansas. He was baptized on November 20, 1955 and confirmed on March 20, 1969. Kevin graduated from MFL High School with the class of 1973.
Kevin was united in marriage with Cindy Hubanks on May 26, 1979 at St. John Lutheran Church in Farmersburg, Iowa. Two sons were born to this union. Kevin worked for Clayton County Secondary Road Department as a heavy equipment operator for thirty-five years. Kevin was a born again christian and rededicated his life to the lord in believers’ baptism on August 25th, 2013.
Kevin had a special place in his heart for the family farm, where he enjoyed farming in his younger years. His favorite pastimes were fishing, hunting, gardening and spending time with family and friends.
Kevin is survived by his wife, Cindy Henning of Monona, Iowa; two sons, Travis Henning of Monona, Iowa and Justin (Jamie) Henning of Burlington, Iowa; three grandchildren, Jackson, Keya and Kase; one brother, Kent (Carole) Henning of Johnston, Iowa; four brothers-in-law, Bob (Debbie) Hubanks, Tom (Peggy) Hubanks, Shane (Marcia) Hubanks and Pat (Kris) Hubanks; and three sisters-in-law, Linda (Don) Moore, Mindy (Wesley) Horstman and Renita (Mark) Groom.
Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Bonnie Henning; and three brothers-in-law, Mike Hubanks, Andy Hubanks and Steve Hubanks.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Bible Baptist Church, Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. There will also be a one hour visitation before services at the church on Friday.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, November 2, 2018 at Bible Baptist Church, Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin with Pastor Andy Doll as the officiant.
Burial will follow at Farmersburg-Wagner Cemetery, Farmersburg, Iowa.
