Jeannette Ann Lehnen, 83 of Red Wing, Minnesota formerly of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin died Sunday evening, October 15, 2017 at her residence in Red Wing following a lengthy illness.
Jeannette was born January 3, 1934 at Dubuque, Iowa. She was the daughter of George T. and Adele (Hanson) Utzig. She received her education in Dubuque, graduating from St. Joseph’s Academy in 1951. On June 21, 1952 she was united in marriage to Joseph Lehnen at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Dubuque. Jeannette worked as a beautician her entire career.
She is survived by her husband Joseph of Red Wing, Minnesota; three sons, Joseph G. Lehnen of Altoona, Wisconsin, Jay T. Lehnen of North Champlin, Minnesota, Kevin J. Lehnen of Spring Valley, Minnesota; one daughter, Julie Sweers of Elko-New Market, Minnesota; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are with the Thornburg-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin.
