Aileen Mary Hager, 66, Luana, Iowa, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2016, at her daughter’s home in Monona, Iowa. Aileen was born on October 14, 1950, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to Edgar and Margaret (Berry) Tackett.
Aileen was united in marriage to Richard Hager on June 30, 2001, in Harpers Ferry, Iowa. Richard later passed away in March of 2016. Aileen worked for Monona Wire for fourteen years. She enjoyed knitting, ceramics and her dogs. She loved her family and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her.
Survivors include her children, Shelly (Lonnie) Wiemerslage, Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, Tina (Arlyn) Loper, Monona, Jimmy (Teresa) Eggers, Monona; step-daughter, Gale (Danny) Lutz; many grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and one sister, Kay Tippets, New Mexico.
Aileen was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Margaret Tackett and her husband, Richard Hager.
