Paul Frederick Becker 74, of McGregor, Iowa died Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Great River Care Center, McGregor, Iowa. Paul Frederick was born July 17, 1942 at Giard, Iowa to caring parents, Irvin and Johanna (Hartke) Becker.
Paul was able to live at home until August 1999 and helped on the farm, then resided at Scenic Acres until August 2015. In August 2015 Great River Care Center in McGregor, Iowa become his home. Paul attended Sunday School and Church. He enjoyed music, dancing, and going out to eat, Hardees was his favorite. Paul loved pie.
Paul is survived by one sister, Kathryn Starkey of Marquette, Iowa; two brothers, Richard (Beverly) Becker and William Becker, both of McGregor, Iowa; three nieces; two nephews; seventeen great-nieces and nephews; and five great-great- nieces and nephews.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Irvin and Johanna Becker; one nephew-in-law; and one niece.
Visitation will be Friday, February 10, 2017 from 3-6 pm at Thornburg-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service, McGregor, Iowa with a one hour visitation at the church before services on Saturday.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Giard United Methodist Church, Giard, Iowa with Rev. Kevin Smith as the officiant.
Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, McGregor, Iowa.
