Marjorie Ann Rice, 56, of McGregor, Iowa died Monday, April 24, 2017 at Crossing Rivers Health Systems, Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. She was born May 10, 1960 to Doug and Helen (Helms) Rice in Boscobel, Wisconsin. Margie graduated from Wauzeka High School in 1978 and Southwest Tech, Fennimore, Wisconsin with a LPN Degree in 1986.
Margie was a nurse for thirty years at Great River Care Center, Lori Knapp, Inc. and Elkader Care Center. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandsons. She also loved her dog Tucker and watching birds.
Margie is survived by her children, Marissa (Daryl) Whitney of McGregor and Tyler Rice of McGregor; three grandsons, Jonathan, Joey and Jensen Whitney and her siblings, Ron (Chris) Rice of Janesville, Wisconsin, Sandee Lindholm of Richland Center, Wisconsin and Deb (Linda Johnson) Rice of Boscobel, Wisconsin.
Margie was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be Friday, April 28, 2017 from 3 – 8 pm on at Leonard-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Monona, Iowa.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Margie’s honor to Human Society of NE Iowa, MFL EMS or MarMac EMS.
