Bradley Louis Kishman, 67, of Farmersburg, Iowa died Monday May 22, 2017 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon, Iowa. Bradley Louis, the son of Landry and Rosina (Bonfig) Kishman, was born August 25, 1949 in Postville, Iowa. He graduated from MFL High School with the Class of 1968. Brad was united in marriage with Melody Huff on September 26, 1970. To this union two sons, Kenton and Kurtis, were born. Together Brad and Melody operated the family farm. In 2012, Brad’s health didn’t allow him to milk cows any longer but he was able to spend the rest of his life on the farm surrounded by family.
Brad was able to do what he loved, farming. The cows, the cow sales, the cow shows and the people he met were most important to him until he became a Grnadpa, then the grandkids became the sparkle in his eye and the joy in his heart.
Brad is survived by his wife, Melody, of Farmersburg; two sons, Kenton (Ashley) Kishman of Monona; and Kurtis (Michelle) Kishman of Farmersburg; eight grandchildren, Bobbi (James) Kimball, Makenna Snitker, Carter Snitker, Grant Fremstad, Lauren Kishman, Mason Kishman, Ava Kishman, and Gavin Kishman; and four great-grandchildren, Hudson, Henleigh, and Hattie Kimball, Gracelyn Jones.
Brad was preceded in death by his parents, Landry and Rosina.
We will miss ya Gramps!
