Jerri Jo (Zapf) Baker, 58, of Volga, passed away Monday, May 8, 2017, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids. She was born April 28, 1959, to Romanus and Darlene (Clinton) Zapf.
Jerri attended Central High School. She was a homemaker and also worked at the IOCO in Volga. Jerri loved spending time with family, especially grandchildren; going fishing, internet games, watching movies and her cats, specifically, Samson.
She is survived by her four children, Misty Baker of Elkader, Bryant Allen (Ashley) Baker, Jr. of Aurora, Justin Andrew Baker of West Union and Kristy (Joe) Dobek of Volga; ten grandchildren, Brittnee and Alexis Pash, Corbin, Mason, Haylee, Kaylee, Ivory, and Scarlett Baker, Chloe and Joseph, Jr. Dobeck; sisters, Joyce (Doug) Kuehl of Strawberry Point, Jean Reinhardt of Strawberry Point, June (Al) Pritchard of Edgewood, Jenny Schuldt of Edgewood, brother-in-law, Gene West of Strawberry Point, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jerri was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Janice West, brother, Joel Zapf and brothers-in-law, Jim Reinhardt and Don “Chopper” Schuldt.
Private family services will be held at Sacred Heart Cemetery, rural Littleport, Iowa.
Leonard-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Elkader, Iowa is assisting the family.
