Randall Dennler, 58, of Lincoln, Nebraska formerly of Elkader, Iowa died Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Monarch Hospice House in Lincoln, Nebraska. Randy was born September 19, 1958 to LaVern L. and Ivanelle E. “Ivy” (Erickson) Dennler and grew up in Elkader, Iowa. He graduated from Central Community High School Elkader, Iowa and earned an Ag Business degree from Kirkwood Community College. Randy enjoyed spending time with friends and family, and was an avid Chicago Bears football fan. His greatest joy was his daughter Randi, who he dearly loved.
Randy is survived by his daughter, Randi (Travis) Langan of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; a sister Rebbecca (Layne) Tielbar of Schuyler, Nebraska; and two brothers, Rick (Glennda) Dennler of Elkader, Iowa and Ron (Nancy) Dennler of Farmersburg, IA; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Randy was preceded in death by his father, LaVern Dennler and mother Ivanelle Dennler.
Visitation will be 9-11 am on Friday, August 18, 2017 at Leonard-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Elkader, Iowa.
A Celebration of Life Service will be at 11:00 am on Friday, August 18, 2017 at Leonard-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Elkader, Iowa.
Burial will follow at Elgin Cemetery, Elgin, Iowa.
Leonard-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Elkader, Iowa is helping the family with arrangements
