Chuck Wayne Thornton, 42, of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin died Sunday, October 29, 2017 at his home in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. He was born January 5, 1975 to Walter “Steve” and Joyce (Shulka) Thornton in Aurora, Illinois. He attending school in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin.
Chuck was employed at Halpin Tire service, Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and being with his family and friends, he always had a smile on his face. Chuck loved special time with his dad on Sundays and Mondays, NASCAR and the Packers.
Chuck is survived by his loving parents, Steve and Joyce Thornton; his Godparents, Gary and Rita (Shulka) Fuller; a very special little girl, Arieanna, whom he adored and many uncles, aunts and other family members.
Chuck was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Thornburg-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin.
Memorial Service will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Thornburg-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin with Rev. Kyle Svennungsen as the Officiant.
Inurnment will be held at a later date.
