Ronald Harlin Miller, 69, of Cresco, Iowa formerly of Monona, Iowa died Friday, November 3, 2017 at Regional Health Services, Cresco, Iowa. Ronald Harlin was born September 5, 1948 on the family farm southwest of Monona, Iowa to Harlin and Ethel (Moon) Miller. He was baptized on September 22, 1948 and confirmed on April 15, 1962 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Monona, Iowa. Ronnie graduated from MFL High School in 1966.
Ronald was united in marriage with Diana Schlitter on October 11, 1969, four daughters were born to this union. They later divorced. He worked for Swiss Valley Farms in Luana, Iowa for thirty-five years, retiring on September 7, 2010.
Ronald is survived by three daughters, Tammy Kraling of Mason City, Iowa, Heather (David) Hageman of Fort Atkinson, Iowa and Heidi (Russ) Haskins of Fort Atkinson, Iowa; seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; one great-grandson; sister, Joyce (Robert) Melcher of Monona, Iowa; brother, Dale (Arlene) Miller of Fredericksburg, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Harlin and Ethel Miller; daughter, Dawn Novak; sister and brother-in-law, Marlys and Leonard Seitz; and niece, Colleen Janko.
Graveside service will be at 11:00 am on Friday, November 10, 2017 at St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery, Monona, Iowa with Rev. Erika Kielstrup as the Officiant.
A memorial fund for Ronnie has been established at CUSB Bank, Cresco, Iowa in his daughter’s name, Tammy Kraling.
