Ronnie Gene Plozel, 56, of Luana, Iowa died Friday, February 9, 2018 at his home in Luana. He was born on November 19, 1961 to Eugene and Wanda (Petersen) Plozel in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. Ronnie graduated from MFL School, Monona, Iowa and attended Northeast Iowa Community College, Calmar, Iowa in Automotive Technology.
Ronnie was united in marriage with Doris Rubendall in August of 1991. Together they raised two children, Jamie and Kathy. Ronnie worked maintenance at Iowa Turkey Products in Postville, Featherlight in Cresco and Agriprocessors in Postville from 2010 to July of 2017. He enjoyed collecting and building model trains, videotaping trains, he liked to fix things; mowers and vehicles, camping and he loved building things.
Ronnie is survived by his children, Jamie Plozel of Lansing and Kathy (Larry) Kugel of Luana; four grandchildren, Hunter, Rylee, Desirae, and Avery Kugel; three siblings, Penny (Scott) Peterson of Farmersburg, David Plozel of Luana and Andy (Julie) Plozel of Luana and four nieces.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his wife, Doris and his parents.
Memorial Service will be held from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Luana Saving Bank Basement.
