Charles Albert Walker, 70, of Eastman, Wisconsin died Monday, May 28, 2018 at his home in Eastman, Wisconsin. Charles was born May 31, 1947 to Charles and Anna (Mara) Walker in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. He attended Wauzeka High School. Charles proudly joined and served in the United States Army, serving two tours in Viet Nam.
Charles was united in marriage with Patricia Trautsch, they later divorced. Charles was then united in marriage with Joyce Gander on Jan 6, 1995 in Dodgeville, Wisconsin. He worked as a Sub Station Maintenance Inspector for Alliant Energy for forty-four years. Charles loved playing fast pitch baseball, hunting, fishing, gambling and golfing.
Charles is survived by his wife, Joyce Walker of Eastman, Wisconsin; siblings, Marolyn (Philip) Scott of Laguna Vista, Texas, Angela Savinelli of Austin, Texas, Charlene (John) Adler of Laguna Vista, Texas, John Walker of Eastman, Wisconsin, Ronald Walker of Wauzeka, Wisconsin and Donald (Mary) Walker of Wauzeka, Wisconsin; in-laws, Dick and Ramona Gander of Arizona, Frank and Shirley Conley of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, Bill and Judy Gander of Madison, Wisconsin, Ann Beers of Steuben, Wisconsin, Helen Blakley of Viola, Wisconsin and Vicki Hale of California; and many nieces and nephews.
Charles was preceded in death by his son, Brad Walker; daughter, Crystal Walker; his parents, Charles and Anna Walker; two brothers, Robert and Joseph Walker; and one sister, Margaret Schmidt.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 pm on Friday, June 1, 2018 at Thornburg-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin.
There will be a Graveside Service at 10:30 am on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery, Eastman, Wisconsin with Rev. James Weighner as the officiant.
