Dallas Wayne Landt, 52, of Ankeny, Iowa formerly of Luana, Iowa passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at his home in Ankeny. Dallas was born to Wayne and Martha (Bronson) Landt on August 13, 1965 in Postville, Iowa. He graduated from MFL in 1983 and attended Iowa State University earning his Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business.
Dallas was united in marriage with Sue Holtorf. Three children were born to this union. Dallas worked as a Commodity Broker for R.J. O’Brien in Des Moines, Iowa. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, singing and dancing. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends.
Dallas is survived by his three children, Zachary Landt (Ashley Bygrave) of Houston, Texas, Jordan Landt (Jacob Sumney) of Houston, Texas and Dylan Landt (Krista Gorniak) of Holmen, Wisconsin; his father, Wayne Landt (Peggy Flath) of Luana, Iowa; sister, Laurie Landt (Jeff Wilhelm) of Postville, Iowa; brother, Travis (Sheri) Landt of Luana, Iowa; niece, Brooklyn Landt; nephew, Braden Landt; and special friend, Lori Drzycimski.
Dallas was preceded in death by his mother, Martha Landt on August 19, 2016; and his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Visitation will be held from 9-11 am on Friday, June 22, 2018 at St. John Lutheran Church, Luana, Iowa.
Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am on Friday, June 22, 2018 at St. John Lutheran Church, Luana, Iowa with Rev. Harold McMillin as the officiant.
Inurnment will be held at a later date.
