Luther Eugene Lind, 76, of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin died Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Crossing Rivers Health Systems, Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. He was born October 8, 1941 to Harold and Delilah (Olsen) Lind in Viroqua, Wisconsin. Luther graduated from Viroqua High School, Viroqua, Wisconsin and University of Wisconsin, Stout, Wisconsin with an Education Degree.
Luther taught school at Neenah, Wiscosnin and also worked at River Town Ironworks, Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin.
Luther is survived by his sister, Jenny (Elden) Schroeder of Onalaska, Wiscosnin; sisters-in-law, Bonnie Lind of Janesville, Wisconsin and Karen Lind of Cashton, Wisconsin and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Luther was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Margaret Starch and brothers, Edward Lind, Valdermar Lind and Paul Lind.
Funeral Services will be at 10:30 am on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Grace Lutheran Church WELS, Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin with Rev. Daniel Naumann as the Officiant. There will also be a visitation from 9:30 am until time of services on Wednesday at the church.
Burial will follow at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Westby Coon Prairie Cemetery, Westby, Wisconsin.
