Eugene John Raymond Myers, 76, of Waukon, Iowa died Saturday, June 29, 2019 at his home in Waukon. Eugene was born May 15, 1943 to Leo and Carma (Ellefson) Myers in La Crosse, Wisconsin. He graduated from Waukon High School in 1962.
Eugene was united in marriage and one child was born to this union, they later divorced. Eugene was a farmer as well as a Truck Driver. He drove truck all over the United States including moving blacktop for Bituma and worked for a trucking company clearing up wrecks.
Eugene is survived by his two granddaughters, Chelsey (Steven) Pfiffner of Onalaska, Wisconsin and Courtney Meyer of Rochester, Minnesota; two great-grandsons, Hayes Pfiffner and Greyson Tuseth; a son-in-law, Todd Meyer of Waukon, Iowa and multiple cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Carma Myers; a daughter, Lori Meyer; and his brother, Rick Myers
A private Graveside Service will be held.
