Shannon Marie Jones, 49, of Harpers Ferry, Iowa died at her home on Tuesday, June 4, 2019. She was born December 1, 1969 to Robert “Butch” and Linda (Johanningmeier) Shaw in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin.
Shannon was united in marriage with Andrew “Andy” Jones on July 18, 1987. Four children were born to this union, Raymond, Nathan, Aaron and Corissa. Shannon was a supervisor for Monona Wire for many years. She loved riding her motorcycle, her grandchildren were her world, she also loved her family and the outdoors.
Shannon is survived by her husband, Andrew “Andy” Jones of Harpers Ferry, Iowa; her children, Raymond Jones of Monona, Nathan Jones of Harpers Ferry, Aaron Jones of Monona and Corissa (Mike) Bothel of Monona; three grandchildren, Bentley, Gracelyn, Aden and one on the way; her parents, Butch and Linda Shaw of McGregor; maternal grandmother, Betty Johanningmeier; two sisters, Robin (Daniel) Larson of Elkader and Tonya Picha of Louisiana; three brothers, Terry (Vanessa) Picha of Monona, Jake (Kelly) Shaw of Farmersburg and Travis Shaw of McGregor and many nieces, nephews and other family members.
Shannon was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather, Virgil Johanningmeier.
Celebration of Life will be Sunday, June 9, 2019 from 1-6 pm at Leonard-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Monona, Iowa.
Inurnment will be held at a later date.
