William Albert “Bill” Sautter Sr., 75, of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin died Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at Bluff Haven Assisted Living, Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. He was born April 18, 1944 to Fred and Violet (Gohde) Sautter Sr in McGregor, Iowa. He attended Giard Country School through the eighth grade.
Bill was united in marriage with Barb Raymaker and was later divorced and then married Margaret Potts and she passed away. He was the father of three children, Tim, Bill and Joel. Bill was a retired Laborer from Dillman Equipment and he also was a truck driver for D&J Feed Service.
Bill is survived by his three sons, Tim (Tina) Sautter of Luana, Iowa, Bill (Missy) Sautter in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin and Joel Sautter of McGregor, Iowa; grandchildren, Kayla Sautter, Kim Sautter, Scott Sautter, Lindy Sautter, Nick Sautter, Stephanie Johanningmeier, Brie Sautter and Trinity Sautter; several great-grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren and three brothers, Fred (Bonnie) Sautter of Farley, Iowa, Terry (Loretta) Sautter of Manchester, Iowa and John Sautter of Rossville, Iowa.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Margaret Sautter and nephew, Terry Sautter Jr.
According to Bill’s wishes there will be no funeral services.
