Robert Charles Ball, 89, of Monona, Iowa died Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at Great River Care Center in McGregor, Iowa. Robert was born March 21, 1931 to Charles and Edna (Bruehahn) Ball in Western Iowa. He attended Walnut Grove Country School.
Robert was united in marriage with Betty Suckow. Three children were born to this union. Robert worked as a farmer his entire life, which he loved. He enjoyed hunting, camping, raising hogs and riding motorcycle. Robert valued his time with friends and family, especially his grandchildren,
Surviving Robert are his wife of sixty-nine years, Betty Ball of Monona, Iowa; two children, Laurie Bellinger of Preston, Minnesota and Derald (Julie) Ball of Monona, Iowa; a daughter-in-law, Mary Ball of Monona, Iowa and four grandchildren, Nathan Ball, Lee A Ball, Naomi Riggle and Alex Ball; and five great-grandchildren.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Edna Ball; son, Allen Ball; and one brother Harold Ball.
A Private Family Service will be held.
