Roger Sieg, Luana, Iowa, May 7, 2020

Roger Ludwig Sieg, 69, of Luana, Iowa died Thursday, May 7, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Roger was born January 10, 1951 to Bernard and Elfriede (Ziener) Sieg in Waukon, Iowa. He graduated from MFL Highschool in 1969 and attended U-W in Lacrosse, Wisconsin. Roger worked as a Quoting Manager for CVG in Monona, Iowa for 40+ years.

On December 31, 1999 Roger was united in marriage with Pam Coenen. Three daughters joined this union.

Roger loved the outdoors and you could find him listening to AM radio, golfing, walking, fishing or gardening. He would also be cheering for the Chicago Bears and Iowa Hawkeyes. Roger found joy in all of his children and grandchildren. He dearly loved his family and will be missed by many.

The family expresses gratitude to the staff at Crossing Rivers Hospice.

Surviving Roger are his wife, Pam Sieg of Luana, Iowa; three daughters, Alissa (Leigh) Ruff, Amanda (Justin) Hansel and Ashlea Coenen (Brian Radloff), all of Monona, Iowa; eight grandchildren, Scotlyn, Alivia, Mayleigh, Makenna, Ayla, Jaxon, Bodyn and Sloan; and his siblings, Gordon (Sandra) Sieg of Bettendorf, Iowa, Rosie (Dan) Schober of Jacksonville, Florida and Dennis Sieg of Waukon, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Elfriede Sieg.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family at 18892 135th Street, Luana, IA 52156.

Due to state and federal guidance on gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family will not be having a public memorial at this time.

A Private Graveside Service will be held at a later date.
