Wade Wesley Stracener of Lansing, Iowa passed away at the age of 92 on Sunday, November 1st 2020. Wade was born on November 25, 1928 in Tampa, Texas.
A kind, loving and very involved father to his three sons, Wade thoroughly enjoyed their high school and college sports. A retired engineer from Chemplex, Wade and wife Jean were avid golfers and members of the Valley Oaks golf course in Clinton, Iowa where they spent most of their married life. After retiring they traveled and spent time in Texas where the two were from.
Wade was preceded in death by his wife Jean Rath and his 8 brothers and sisters. Wade leaves behind sons Bruce Stracener of Utah, Kenneth (Amy) Stracener of Lansing, Iowa and Ronald Stracener of Comanche, Iowa. Four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
