Robert (Bob) F. Kramer, 74, of Elkader, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at the Elkader Medical Center. Bob was the son of Milton and Anna Mae (Eberhardt) Kramer. He was raised in Elkader, Iowa, attending public schools and graduating high school there. He graduated from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, with a teaching degree. Bob lived in Pella, Iowa, and taught and coached in the Pella Community School District until he retired. He moved back to Elkader after retirement to help care for his parents.
Bob is survived by his brother, Milt (Joanne) Kramer of Manchester, Iowa; sister-in-law Sandy Kramer of New Braunfels, Texas; nieces Valerie Hanson, Kerry (Kirk) Johnson, Jill (Mark) Davidson, Lisa (Michael) Kukral, and nephew Jeff (Shawn) Kramer; and many great and great-great nieces and nephews. Bob is also survived by a large and loving extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear family friends. He will be especially missed by his fur-baby, Jasper, and all his feline “cowboys”. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and his brother, Clyde Kramer.
Services will be at Peace United Church of Christ in Elkader, on Friday, March 26, 2021, at 1:00p, with visitation an hour before. ALL COVID-19 PREVENTION PROTOCOLS WILL BE FOLLOWED.
