Karoline Drahn, 52, of Thompson, Iowa formerly of Monona, Iowa died Sunday, February 13, 2022. Karoline was born September 24, 1969 to Helmut and Carola (Bohm) Beischl in Landshut, Germany.

On January 26, 1988, Karoline was united in marriage with Daniel Drahn in Bov Kommune, Denmark. Two children were born to this union. She was employed by Winnebago Industries. Karoline was creative, doing arts and crafts, including making custom signs and t-shirts. In her spare time, Karoline enjoyed going antiquing, bass fishing, dressing up to go dancing and Salmon fishing in Kenosha, Wisconsin. She cherished the time she spent outdoors, traveling, going camping and visiting the Rocky Mountains. Making memories with her children and her grandchildren were the highlight of her life, she would “steal” clothes from Cecilia and chase Jonathan around with a wooden spoon. Karoline also loved having her dogs.

Surviving Karoline includes, Daniel Drahn of Lake Mills, Iowa; her children, Cecilia (Cody) Bachman of Solon, Iowa and Jonathan (fianc’e, Katie Simmons) Drahn of Cascade, Iowa; six grandchildren, Hayden, Mackay, Kolton, Emma, Micheal and Landon; five sisters, Elvira, Krista, Roswitha, Manuela and Kerstin; and one brother, Helmut.

Karoline was preceded in death by her parents, Helmut and Carola Beischl; and her grandmother, Kathrina Bohm; father-in-law, Keith Drahn.

Visitation will be held from Noon to 3:00 pm on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at Leonard-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Monona, Iowa.

Funeral Service will be at 3:00 pm on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at Leonard-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Monona, Iowa with Rev. Mel Harris as the officiant.

Inurnment will be held at a later date.
