Pamela J. Lorenz, 71 of Rural Eastman passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at home. She was born in Flint, Michigan. Nov 28, 1950 to Joseph and Garnett (Fick) Chomas. Her family moved to Bay City Michigan, where she graduated from St Stanislaus Preparatory School. She then attended Delta College in Midland, Michigan, transferring to Colorado University in Boulder for Geology.
Pamela worked for Exeter Drilling and Exploration in Denver, Colorado until 1986. She owned and operated Stretch & Sew Fabrics in Arvada Colorado until 1994. She then worked at Adams 12 School District until 1997 before retiring.
Pamela was an outspoken cancer survivor, she enjoyed gourmet cooking, gardening and was a master seamstress with a passion. She had a philanthropic spirit and had designed, created, and donated many quilts to every community she lived in over the years. She enjoyed traveling the world with her husband, always asking the question: “Do you think they have fabric stores there?”
Pamela is survived by her husband, Larry of thirty-nine years; their children, Nicholas and Matthew; her three grandchildren, Gage, Taryn, and Pilot; her siblings, Joseph Chomas of Golden Colorado, Timothy Chomas of Bay City, Michigan, Gregory Chomas, and Debbie Miller of Eastman, Wisconsin and she also leaves behind many friends throughout the world.
Pamela was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Barbara Nassif.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at the United Methodist Church in Eastman, Wisconsin. Visitation will be at 10:00 am followed by a service at 11:00 am. Memorials are preferred to the Charity of your Choice.
Private inurnment will be held at a later date.
