William “Bill” Robert Kelly, 49, of St. Olaf, Iowa died Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at his home. William was born June 11, 1972 to Roger and Linda (Meana) Kelly in Waukon, Iowa.
Bill worked for B &R Construction, helped on a farm and also worked for Canadian Pacific Railroad for over twenty years. He enjoyed camping, tubing, sitting around a campfire, hunting, fishing and four wheeling. He was a collector of “things” including coins and tractors. Bill liked to watch sailing and farm shows.
Surviving Bill are his seven siblings, Kim Kelly of Dubuque, Iowa, Cheryl (Brian) Rodenberg of McGregor, Iowa, Bonnie (Rodney Cook, fiance’) Kelly of Giard, Iowa, Frank (Sara) Kelly of St. Olaf, Iowa, Sarah (Marvin) Walters of McGregor, Iowa, Christopher Kelly of St. Olaf, Iowa and Rebecca Kelly of St. Olaf, Iowa; eleven nieces and nephews and twelve great-nieces and great-nephews.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Linda Kelly; one sister, Lisa Kelly; maternal grandparents, Lloyd and Dorothy Meana and his paternal-grandparents, John and Clara Kelly.
Inurnment will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at St. Pius Cherry Mound Cemetery, Harpers Ferry, Iowa.
There will be a Celebration of Life following the burial at Big Paint Campground in Yellow River State Forest.
