Tom contracted German measles at the very early age of three months and consequently followed by meningitis. He resided primarily at Central Colony in Madison, WI, for 36 years, and then at adult care homes in Prairie du Chien and Dodgeville since 1996. He has been a resident at Sunnyside West in Dodgeville for the past seven years.
The Becwar family would like to extend their deepest gratitude and appreciation to all of his exceptional caregivers throughout his life, especially the caring and loving staff at Sunnyside West. They supported Tom tremendously over the past several years and with their presence in many of the last hours of his life. We also want to thank Dr. Ingrid Berg and the nursing staff at Upland Hills for their care and compassion from his time of admission on Monday, July 11th, until his passing on July 14th.
