Janice Elaine Martins, 78, formerly of Chicago, Illinois passed away Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Wellington Place in Decorah, Iowa. She was born November 19, 1944 to John Joseph and Hilda Minnie Matilda (Meyer) Martins in Postville, Iowa. She graduated from Postville High School and attended two years at UWL. Â Janice enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling, and will always be remembered for her priceless sense of humor.
Surviving Janice are her siblings, Mary (Roger) Baglien of Tuson, Arizona and Stanley (Cheryl) Martins of Postville, Iowa, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Jack, Bernie, Virgil and Jerald.
