Elaine Noggle, Clermont, Iowa, January 25, 2024

Elaine Marilyn Noggle, 87, of Clermont, Iowa died Thursday, January 25, 2024 at her home in Clermont. She was born January 15, 1937 to Clarence and Helen (Pratt) Tatro in West Union, Iowa, Elaine was confirmed at the Presbyterian Church in West Union, Iowa on April 2, 1950. She graduated from Clermont-Elgin Consolidated School in 1955, attended one year at University of Dubuque and graduated from NEITI, Calmar, Iowa in the clerical department.

Elaine was united in marriage with Gene Louis Westby on January 4, 1958 and were later divorced. She then married Paul Ernest Noggle on April 1, 1962 and three children were born to this union, Lynne, Michelle and Tamara. They were later divorced.

Elaine was a mother’s helper, helped at Western Auto store in the summers, the Turkey Plant, a nurse’s aide, a waitress at Boot Hill Supper Club, powdered milk packaging, waitress and car hop at M&L Drive In, Collins Radio, office home construction, Kmart and Valley High School as a custodian, retiring in 1987. She was also a foster parent. Elaine enjoyed reading, coffee with friends, knitting, crocheting, needle point, sewing, ancestry, listening to western music and playing games with her family.

Elaine is survived by her children Lynne (Jim Ryder) Fuchs of Byron, Minnesota and Tamara Yauslin of Clermont; grandchildren, Joshua (Christy Boyd) Thompson of Mantorville, Minnesota, Jared Thompson of Rochester, Minnesota, Jordan Thompson of Rochester, Minnesota, Megan (Riley) Mickelson of Brownsdale, Minnesota, James (Jenna) Nuehring of Des Moines, Andrew (Devin) Knickerbocker of Elgin, Rebecca (Kyle Kregel) O’Dell of Hawkeye, Dakota Noggle of West Union and Cherokee (Trevor Teslow) Noggle of Dubuque; great-grandchildren, Hayden Boyd, Russell Anderson, Desirae Thompson, Emma Mickelson, Josie, Kiara and Avery Nuehring, Ashton, Brianna and Grayson Knickerbocker, Ronnie and Everleigh O’Dell, Amelia Kregel and Nathan Teslow; brother, Ronald (Elaine) Tatro of Marion; nephews, Kevin (Laura) Tatro of Carlisle and Kyle (Amy) Tatro of Anamosa; great-nieces, Kristin (Alec) Munier and Jazlyn Tatro and a great-great nephew, Garreth Munier.

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Michelle Noggle and a great-grandson, Robert O’Dell.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 28, 2024 from 12-1 pm at West Clermont Lutheran Church, Clermont, Iowa. There will be a Celebration of Life Service at 1:00 pm at West Clermont Lutheran, Church, Clermont, Iowa with Vicar Mike Erickson as the Officiant.

Private Family Inurnment will be at later date at God’s Acres, Clermont, Iowa.
