Octavio Valenzo-Morales,Trempealeau, Wisconsin, formerly of Postville, Iowa, March 1, 2024

Octavio Valenzo Morales, 32 of Trempealeau, Wisconsin, formerly of Postville, Iowa, passed away March 1, 2024. He was born February 28, 1992 to Octavio Valenzo and Cristina Morales Vazquez in Colotlipa, Guerrero.  He attended Postville High school through the tenth grade.

Tavio (how family and friends referred to him) will be greatly missed and will always be remembered by his genuine smile, laughter and unique sense of humor. Tavio was kind, quiet and reserved. He also had a deep and unconditional love for his family, especially his mother. He was always ready to lend a hand to anyone is need. Tavio will always be remembered as a young man who loved nature and animals, his hobbies were fishing, swimming, drawing, listening music and karaoke.

He is survived by his mother, Cristina Morales Vazquez; siblings, Gervasio Campos (Fabiola Morales), Carmen Campos (Ruben Perez), Consuelo Campos, Rosario Campos (Silvestre Rodriguez), Librado Campos (Blanca Campos), Flor Valenzo (Drew Bernatz), his maternal grandmother Eufrasia Vazquez, as well as many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Octavio was preceded in death by his oldest brother Miguel Campos as well as several aunts and uncles.

A Public Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, March 15, 2024 at Leonard-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Monona, Iowa.

A Vigil Service will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday, March 15, 2024 at Leonard-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Monona, Iowa with Rev. Martin Coolidge as the officiant.

Burial will take place in Mexico at a later date.

Leonard-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Monona, Iowa is assisting the family with arrangements.

Nació el 28 de febrero de 1992, hijo de Octavio Valenzo y Cristina Morales Vazquez en Colotlipa, Guerrero. Asistió a la escuela secundaria de Postville hasta el décimo grado.

Se le extrañara mucho a Tavio (como se referían a él sus familiares y amigos) y siempre se le recordará por su sonrisa genuina, su risa y su sentido del humor único. Tavio era amable, tranquilo y reservado. También tenía un amor profundo e incondicional por su familia, especialmente por su mamá. Siempre estuvo dispuesto a echar una mano a cualquiera que lo necesitara. Tavio siempre será recordado como un joven amante de la naturaleza y los animales, entre sus pasatiempos favoritos eran pescar, nadar, dibujar, escuchar música y karaoke.

Le sobreviven su madre, Cristina Morales Vázquez; hermanos, Gervasio Campos (Fabiola Morales), Carmen Campos (Ruben Perez), Consuelo Campos, Rosario Campos (Silvestre Rodriguez), Librado Campos (Blanca Campos), Flor Valenzo (Drew Bernatz), su abuela materna Eufrasia Vazquez, así como muchos tíos, primos y sobrinos.

A Octavio le precedieron en la muerte su hermano mayor, Miguel Campos, así como varios tíos y tías.

Se llevará a cabo un velorio público de 2:00 p. m. a 7:00 p. m. el viernes 15 de marzo de 2024 en la funeraria y servicio de cremación Leonard-Grau en Monona, Iowa.

Se llevará a cabo un servicio de vigilia a las 7:00 p. m. el viernes 15 de marzo de 2024 en la funeraria y servicio de cremación Leonard-Grau en Monona, Iowa, con el reverendo Martin Coolidge como oficiante.

El entierro se llevará a cabo en México en una fecha posterior.
