Sherry Ann (Zimmerman) Schultz, 69, of Polk City, IA died Sunday, May 11, 2025, at Deerfield Senior Living in Urbandale, IA.

Sherry was born July 29, 1955 to James “Jim” Zimmerman and Wanda (Zumbrunnen) Zimmerman in Monticello, IA. She lived in Center Junction, IA, until the age of eight.  Sherry spent the majority of her life in Postville, IA, where she graduated from Postville High School with the class of 1973. She was active in the Honor Society, band and basketball. Sherry was united in marriage with Cloy “Blaine” Schultz on May 28, 1972 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Postville, IA. Three daughters were born to this union. Sherry lived on a farm south of Postville where she enjoyed raising her family and helping run the family farms. Sherry was a member of the State Fair Blue Ribbon Foundation and St. Paul Lutheran Church. She enjoyed camping, bowling and golfing with friends and trips with her bowling sisters. Sherry spent her most recent years living in Polk City, IA. She enjoyed time relaxing at her cabin in Harpers Ferry, IA, traveling, and attending the events of her grandchildren. Her most joy came from those who called her “Nana.”

Sherry is survived by her three daughters, Krista (Randy) Nebendahl of Monona, IA, Keyli (Nick) Keifer of Van Meter, IA and Katrina (Tom) Moreland of Urbandale, IA; grandchildren Brandi Nebendahl, Anna Marie Schley, Makena Keifer, and Mercedes, Carolyn, Thomas and Cloy Moreland; three great grandchildren, Dennis Joe and Desiree Nebendahl, and Lillie Nebendahl; siblings Douglas (Janet) Zimmerman, Melody (Bud) Brink, Pamela (Nic) Dunkel; and several nieces and nephews.

Sherry is preceded in death by her husband, Blaine Schultz and her parents, Jim and Wanda Zimmerman.

A Private Family Service will be held at a later date.
