Donald Edward Buckley, 66 of McGregor, Iowa formerly of Elkader, Iowa passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at the Great River Care Center in McGregor, Iowa. Donald was born March 15, 1960 to Maurice and Mary (Vieira) Buckley in Corning, New York.
On July 7, 2008, Donald was united in marriage with Kimberly Zwanziger at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas. Donald was employed as Truck Driver and had worked for Swift Trucking. He loved driving with his wife going coast to coast for Landspan based out of Lakeland FL. Truck driving was his passion. He enjoyed fishing, playing UNO and doing firework for the 4th of July. He loved his stuffed monkey collection he had on the back of his wheelchair.
Donald is survived by his wife, Kimberly Buckley of Elkader, Iowa; his sister, Teresa Buckley of Roanke, Virginia and his two cats, Little Bit and Annabelle. He was preceded in death by his parents, Maurice and Mary Buckley; sister Madeline; dogs, Spazzy and Sam; and a cat, Chloe.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm with a Prayer at 3:30 pm on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at Turner Pointe in McGregor, Iowa.
