Phillip James Schubert, 76, of Marquette, Iowa passed away Monday, April 6, 2026 at Turner Pointe Assisted Living Facility in McGregor, Iowa. Phillip was born April 30, 1949 to Milton and Marion (Moyer) Schubert in Dubuque, Iowa.
For many years Phillips worked for 3-M in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and old cars. Over the years, Phillip was involved in the community in many ways including teaching hunter’s safety, working for the Marquette Police Department as a reserve officer, and served on the Marquette Fire Department.
Surviving Phillip is his former wife and special friend, Kathleen (Loetz) Schubert, his children, Brian (Amy) Schubert of Davenport, Iowa, Jason (Jessica) Schubert of Marquette, Iowa and Jessica (Mike) Goltz of Monona, Iowa; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild on the way; his sister, Patricia Dudley and brother, Steve Schubert.
Preceding Phillip in death were his parents, Milton and Marion Schubert; brother, MikeSchubert and sister, Victoria Nunes.
