Bradley Dean Christianson, St. Olaf, Iowa, May 16, 2026

Bradley Dean Christianson, 71 of St. Olaf, Iowa died Saturday, May 16, 2026 at MercyOne Hospital in Elkader, Iowa. He was born August 14, 1954 to Bill and Mildred Christianson in McGregor, Iowa. He graduated high school from MFL with the class of 1972. Brad proudly joined and served in the United States Army from 1972 to 1975.

On August 1, 1975, Bradley was united in marriage with Linda Johnson of Colorado Springs, Colorado, where he was a Sgt. in the United States Army. They moved to St. Olaf where he was a self-employed mechanic and part time truck driver for CVG in Monona. Brad was an avid Nascar enthusiast with Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Dale Earnhardt Jr. among his favorite drivers. He enjoyed target shooting and attending gun shows and swap meets.

Brad is survived by his wife, Linda and their fur baby, Bristol. In addition are his two sisters, Joan (Rob) Bolinger of Edgewood and Karen (Martin) Nissen of Cedar Rapids; several nieces, nephews, cousins, one aunt and one uncle.

Brad was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Millie Christianson; brother, Kenny; sister, Wanda; a nephew, Christopher Clark; grandparents, Henry and Matilda Christianson and Adolpha and Mary Larson.

A Funeral will be held at 11:00 am with a visitation from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Monona, Iowa with Rev. Erika Lenth as the officiant.

Inurnment will follow at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Monona, Iowa.

In lieu of flowers memorial may be sent to St. Croix Hospice in Strawberry Point, Iowa.

Leonard-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Monona, Iowa is assisting the family with services.
