John Adams, of Clermont, Iowa, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2026.
John was born to Robert Leo Adams and Cecile (Mertsock) Adams in Hamilton, Ohio. He was one of five children. He graduated from Mt. Whitney High School in Visalia, California.
John owned and operated the Royal Donut Shop in Visalia, California, alongside his sister, Mary. Following his time owning the donut shop, John worked in various security positions before eventually working in casino security at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada.
John retired and moved to Clermont, Iowa, in 2023, where he enjoyed his retirement and the next chapter of his life.
John is survived by his siblings, Mary (Cameron Smith) Adams, of Clermont, Iowa, Robert Adams, Patricia (Patrick) D’Auria, and Gregory Adams.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
