Georgia Marie Rieck, 73, of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin passed away on Wednesday, March 17, 2021, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born to Janice and Jr. Miller on October 12, 1947 in Bagley, Wisconsin. Georgia graduated from West Grant School in 1965. She then was employed at 3M. Georgia met the love of her life, Bruce Rieck, they were later married in 1968. After her husband’s tragic accident that left him a quadriplegic, Georgia pursued a career in sewing and craft shows.
Georgia was preceded in death by her parents, Janice and Jr. Miller; her husband, Bruce Rieck; and sister, Cheryl Haberichter. She is survived by her children, Brandi (Mike) Whitt and Tim (Alisa) Rieck; five grandchildren, Kelsey Whitt, Michael Witt, Chelstie Becwar, Tyler Rieck, Riley Rieck and 9 great grandchildren.
A Visitation will be held from 10 am to 12 pm on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Thornburg-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin.
A Private Burial will take place at Bagley Cemetery in Bagley, Wisconsin.
