Boyd Evan Rodamaker, 95, of Elkader passed away on August 4, 2021, at MercyOne in Elkader.
He was born February 27, 1926, in Chickasaw County, to Evan Edward and Esther Selma (Altenburg) Rodamaker. Boyd farmed in Nashua with his parents. He moved to Guttenberg in 1970. Boyd was Clayton County Sanitarian until his retirement.
Survivors include his three children, Dennis Rodamaker of Strawberry Point, Stanley Rodamaker of Guttenberg, Sherri (Kent) Lange of Elkader and one grandson, Alex Rodamaker.
Boyd was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Lloyd Rodamaker.
Memorials may be sent to the Family at 30922 Evergreen Road, Elkader, IA 52043.
Burial will be held at 1 pm on August 28, 2021,at Garnavillo Community Cemetery.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 pm on August 28, 2021, at Garnavillo Community Center.
