Budd Edwin Bunders, 75, of Steuben, Wisconsin passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2023. He was born August 23, 1947 to Edwin and Flora (Bruckner) Bunders in Millville, Wisconsin. Budd attended West Grant Schools. He proudly served during the Vietnam War in the United States Marine Corps from June 21, 1966 to June 11, 1968.
Budd loved the outdoors. He was a logger most of his life. He also enjoyed hunting, trapping, and fishing. He liked to pick berries and hunt morels. He was a keeper of at least three gardens. Budd also enjoyed attending many of his grandchildren’s sporting events. And never passed up the chance for a card game.
Surviving Budd is his special friend, Liz Peterson; children, Cal (Margie) Bunders, Vicki (Royce) Walters Bobbi Jo (Ray) Walters, John (Julie) Bunders and Jackie (Pat) Wall and Clay Bunders; eighteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Bette (Dennis) Karl and Connie (Bob) Schmitz; two nephews; and a host of other family members and friends.
Budd was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin Bunders and Flora Barker.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Home-A-Gins in Mt. Hope, Wisconsin.
