Patrick Earl Leamy, 82, of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin passed away Friday, August 1, 2025 at Prairie Maison in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. Patrick (Pat) was born November 1, 1942 to Earl and Geraldine (Burroughs) Leamy in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin and graduated from Prairie du Chien High School with the class of 1961.
Pat married Janet Cooper on August 18, 1962. For fifty years they lived in Madison where they raised their daughter Karen. Before retiring in 2000, Pat owned and operated eight Econoprint locations in Madison and Lake Delton and was voted National Printer of the Year from over 5,000 printers. He also served on the Board of the U.S. Bank in Madison. After retiring, Pat and Janet relocated back to their hometown of Prairie du Chien where they were instrumental in founding the Mississippi River Sculpture Park. They enjoyed leisure time at their vacation condo in Key West Florida and their cabin in Northern Wisconsin. Pat liked the outdoors, especially sailing, traveling, camping, and snow skiing. But he liked nothing better than time spent with family and friends, a good story, a hearty laugh, an exciting football game, and a cold beer.
