Olin Lippincott, 80, of West Union, Iowa died Monday, June 18, 2018 at Good Samaritan Society, West Union, Iowa. Olin was born August 8, 1937 to Olin White and Madeline (Stoudt) Lippincott in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He graduated from Webster Groves High School in Webster Groves, Missouri and received his BS Degree in Business from The University of Missouri. Olin was a State Wrestling Champion and State Football Champion in high school. He was inducted into the Webster Groves High School Hall of Fame.
Olin was united in marriage with Dianne Lippincott (Williams). He spent most of his career working for Midland Electronics in Kansas City and later Zenith in Chicago, Illinois.
Olin is survived by his children, Ross Lippincott (Tanya) of Eden Prairie, Minnesota, Dana Reda (Rich) of Mission Hills, Kansas, stepdaughter Lara Edge of Oakland, California, and stepson Darrell Edge of Palm Coast, FL; and seven grandchildren (Josie and Tommy Lippincott, and Grace, Regan, Sam, Francie, and Zoe Reda). He was preceded in death by his wife, Dianne Lippincott, parents, Olin and Madeline Lippincott, and one brother, Jack Lippincott.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at United Methodist Church, West Union, Iowa with Rev. Chris Ebbers as the officiant.
